Sound System

The optional sound system offered by Arizona Railroad Depot adds realism by reproducing the sounds of 1880-style locomotives. The chug-chug, whistle, bell, water fill, coal fill and brake sounds are broadcast through two 9" waterproof speakers and one waterproof woofer.

Audio power comes from a 600 watt, 4-channel amplifier. The system uses a program to match the chug-chug sound to the train speed.

Trains also include a PA System that can be operated by a hand-held microphone or a voice-activated head set.
